This seems to be the age of revisionism, taken to the extreme.

The misinformation and actual published books of the rhetoric and propaganda all in the name to rewrite what actually happened, or to leave out very important parts, to not expose the truth of what really happened.

School history books that skim over our founding fathers intentions, only to get very selective and PC about the 1870's until now.

Is there a reason our government controlled schools are dumbing down our great history, before the Progressive ERA? While the same promoting Progressivism as the greatest thing to happen to the USA?

Is this good or bad?

You mean like Southern States revising the Civil War to exclude the buying and selling of human beings?

Like how the Confederate States Governments were handled after the Civil war and what it amounted to.

Like Controlling Government, Taxation and tyranny, were bad things our Nation got away from.

Revisionist history has been going on since we turned the settlers and the Native Americans into some sort of big kumbaya moment at the "thanksgiving" gathering. I agree with DD above. All revisionist history is bad. We need to know the truth to fully understand how we got where we are currently. Warts and all.
