We had a nice service at church, big turnout, then a big bonfire with hot cider and donuts outside for a while. No naked orgy dancing, just good folks in good spirits celebrating the season.... a few songs and smores of course.

I don't like Solstice, shortest day of the year. Yuck. I just want to hibernate, why should I want to celebrate? I'll celebrate the longest day of the year.
