It really depends who wins the Republican nomination against him. Palin would be an electoral disaster for the Republicans. Romney would be better but not by a lot. To date, I have not seen any other viable candidate show an interest.

But, remember, a week is a long time in politics so 18 months will be an eternity.

Also, while many dislike Obama as a President, 1) CD is not representative of the country, 2) Obama is a very effective campaigner and 3) Obama is far more eloquent and articulate than most candidates we have seen in the past.

Default America isnt white enough demographically to defeat Obama

Remember this. The reason OBAMA won is because the USA isnt demographically stable anymore. In 1960 before immigration reform in 1965 we were about 88% white. Now thats about 60% give or take. The math just isn't there for anything BUT an Obama victory. The only reason Reagan won in 1980 and 1984 was the racial demographics were then still about 75% white.

Everything is racial/cultural demographics. Factor that in with a generation of whites under 30 who were educated by MTV and BET and forget it the nation is DONE. Welcome to the New World Order and the ILLUMINATIs world. This is why the Illuminati needs broken schools and open immigration to CONTROL YOU

Obama is the puppet of the same families which is whats funny. He just relies on the belief that black people are over emotional illogical and do what they are told as long as its a black guy telling them. Though Obama isnt black he is as the old song says CLOSE ENUFF TO PERFECT. If you are black and dont follow this pattern then you are a race traitor. So sayeth the shylocks on television.

Who knows however the Illuminati may dump Obama if the ruse becomes too obvious and go in ANOTHER direction. They control the world after all and David Rockefeller and Soros run the show in this part of the world.

The demographic numbers are established facts published by the United States government. Obamas ties to the Rockefellers are well established. Of course the sheeple will never see that. baaaaaaaaaaaa baaaaaaaa black sheep.

The GOP didn't have anybody who can beat him, and they won't in 2012. The other bad news for them is that now that they have the House the burden will lay on them to play along and get things done. They can no longer sit on the sidelines and be the in-house obstructionists. They have to work with the President (like he works with them) to get things done and move this country along. If not they will be seen as petty and unproductive. When this happens, which it will, it will only provide Obama with even more legislative accomplishments as time goes on.

Furthermore there will be other upcoming issues where Obama probably breaks from his party line. Independent voters prefer a leader who doesn't walk lock step with one particular party. Show me another event where Obama pisses off the left and I'll show you another poll where he surges up 5-10 points. That's what sways votes, and that's what wins elections. Not appeasing one party or the other.

The GOP are in a sticky spot now and they'll have to pick their hands very carefully. Of course here on CD we've got the extremists who will scream non stop about "Socialism", "Fascism", "Long form Birth Certificates" and "Government intrusion into our lives." But that's nothing more than the daily mantra they feed themselves to get worked up. In reality, the majority of voters aren't paying attention to that noise. They just want to see that the country is moving forward and these guys are getting work done. They also want to see compromise and our leaders act like adults.

Many people are also forgetting what a great speaker/debater Obama is. McCain looked old, out of touch and cranky against Obama. Palin would be a disaster. Romney, while a great speaker, with his all American good looks, is despised by his party and would probably not win the primary. The rest of the field, who are certainly not slouches, lack the charisma, demeanor, and overall likability that Obama possesses.

Again, this thread will dissolve into the usual suspects talking about the end of America as we know it, and "Socialism." But while they are drinking that koolaid, they aren't producing a leader, only repeating the non sense of a fringe element that has hijacked the Republican party. Ultimately it will ensure they lose in 2012 as well. In order for the GOP to win 2012, they have to get serious (in other words quit the hysteria, hyperbole and get rational) find a candidate who can not only take on Obama, but bring the same type of enthusiasm to the table. Right now they are light years away form doing any of the above.

Time will tell but at this moment there is no one viable for the republican nod to stand to obama.
On a side note, isn't bella vista arkansas the place where the ponch was trying to sell real estate on late night tv infomercials?

He has been a much president that GW Bush, that's for sure. And SOME Republicans can't accept the fact that Obama is a good president, and has gotten a lot done for this country in his term.

No they have to try and gather the minions now and get them ready to go to work for them and test to the waters to see if he has a chance.

Default the fix is in.....

If you can win the Nobel Peace Surprise 10 days into office, you certainly can win re-election in 2012.

Sorry, the perfect strom has passed, the majority of voters sobered up and his novelty election will not was just that, a 2nd term is an impossibility.
