I agree with them and I hope to see more bipartisan legislation passing in the future.
I just disagree with them. The tax and economic package had way more for the R side of the aisle, the President completely walked away from his campaign promise of "250,000 and above" statement. A compromise would have been 1,000,000 and above. DADT had already been repealed, I'll pass a bill with a gun to my head regardless of what it is. START was supported by everyone except the Republicans in the house and Senate, they can read polls, it was going to pass. The 9/11 responders was the same thing, read the polls.

Its just not anything special yet. If they pass a balanced budget amendment this next year, then I'll be impressed. If they pass a bipartisan bill on Afghanistan, then I'll be impressed. If they fix the healthcare law in a responsible way, I'll be impressed. Everything else that this congress and President can do is just chicken scratch.

I think Obama punked the republicans. The idiots on the right were so focused on taxes that they did not see this train coming for them and got run over. Obama has accomplished more than many presidents did in an entire term. Now in two years if the economy is heading in the right direction taxes will have to go up on the rich. Even if not they will have to go up on the rich. As the right keeps trying to derail social security and medicare and medicaid they will begin to raise the ire of the older population that will be more upset that they may have their programs fooled with then a black guy in the white house. Look at how many of the far right wing idiot tea baggers were beaten, Miller in a write in vote that set a president, a man who "wants the government out of everything but when he loses his race, then its help Uncle Sam save me. and Christine I'm not a witch I'm not a witch, and lets end social security and get rid of all the Mexicans and start a revolution obtuse angle. LMAO The only big win was from back woods Kentucky where they elected a Dr who is not really a Dr. but plays one in Kentucky where they are not all that big on education anyway. Lets see if the moderates get buyers remorse in a couple of years when they see nothing get done. LOL.

Accomplishments and legislative "victories" for the Socialists, yes. For the country and individual liberty and freedom, not so much.

No Congress Since '60s Makes as Much Law as 111th Affecting Most Americans - Bloomberg
How does anyone claim victory when unemployment is at 9.8 percent and 15.1 million are jobless?
Unless the benchmark for success is simply the amount of "legislation" your team can pass.
Disgusting really.

So is your medical degree from a medical school with a higher ranking than Duke?

Are you willing to tell all opthomologists that they are not really doctors?

Perhaps you'd like to tell the children who have benefitted from the Southern Kentucky Lions Eye Clinic that the clinic founder was not a real doctor?
