I caught one of those shows, and was equally disturbed about how the audience acted with every giveaway.
To me, it looks like they're acting. Most of the time, live audiences are told how to behave. This seems to be the case especially with Oprah's audiences.
Oh yes,it is true that the trip was partly funded by the Australian gov.
So not quite the same big giveaway by Oprah.
