The clip is about 3.5 minutes long, so I will sum it up quickly (and honestly.. don't want no "neg rep" for being misleading)
The first half is Vucovich arguing with Sheehan about leaving Iraq and basically trading talking points.
The last minute or so is were it gets good... Vucovich argues with some of the vets who are with Sheehan, and when asked about his service (of which he has none), he gives several answers, which are...
"I'm 31 years old, they don't want me anymore" (to which a vet replies accurately that they'll let you enlist until at least 40)
"They want me to make money so I can pay for it so that's what I'm doing"
They don't need anymore people to enlist"
"I'll go if they want me".. "I'd be happy to go to war"
"Y'all just make stuff up to fit your agenda"
A vet also offers to walk with Vucovich to a recruiting station, to which he waffles in response.
This reminds me of Lee Greenwood's song "Proud to be an American" (with the great line "and I'll proudly Stand Up, next to you, and defend her still today"). You don't ever have to actually Stand Up according to some folks though, the singing is sufficient.
I think this guy should definately sign up for the Army... after all, he's probably used to wearing a helmet all day.
Wow, yet another right wing hypocrite. Maybe one day all the right wingers can open their eyes and become more like the non-hypocritcal, honest, left wing.
