I know several of them who certainly agree with you so you will be safe.

Does the fact that Morris was a part of the Clinton administration tell us anything about him? I don't really like him very much either.

Was his name in that list? I say the two who talked against it up to election day and then voted with the Dems are a bit worse. I don't get to vote against anyone who went along, for whatever reason so I may be talking out of school.

Crapo and Coburn, both re-elected in November, talked against the thing till after the election and then did an about face. Their voters need to take them to task.

How's this for integrity? John McCain tried to barter support for START in return for denying the repeal of DADT - and when he didn't get his way, he tried to introduce a poison-pill amendment to the treaty, duly voted down.

Yup, the angry old man was quite prepared make deals regarding something rather major - like nuclear inspection regimens - as long as the horrible, no-good, scary-scary gay people were kept from serving. We are forever in Palin's debt for highlighting McCain's decision-making capabilities.

That is because there is a difference between doing the right thing and the smart thing and getting re-elected.

Oh, I don't know. It's just that sellout and McCain are terms that have become synonymous.

Yeah, that Clinton, like any president, had some human resource issues.

Why? What if they thought it was the right thing to do?

See..that's what i mean. It was a victory for the Prez, so we gotta take these senators out for helping him look good.

In any case, the Senators who sold out were the ones who voted against it for political reasons. To this day, i don't believe for a minute that they were against the treaty on principle, but were against it because it gave Obama a victory.
Well said.
