Off The Rails: The Year In Fox News Misinformation | Media Matters for America

How sad it is that they are the #1 name in cable news. Without a doubt, its viewers would be more knowledgeable if they watched no news at all.

Was'nt it Fox News who went to court to protect it's right to mislead & lie to it's viewers?

They won their case, so can you tell me why on Earth anyone would wan't to watch a news channel that admits to misleading it's viewers as part of it's protocol?

Fox News takes so much time out for political fanatics to spout off their OPINIONS, that it's hard to find much news on there, anyway.

Fox news lies, lies and more lies...This one really gets my goat. Mark Steyn: "Sarah Palin Is Right About Death Panels" -- They Have Them In Canada.

Absolute steaming rotting bull crap....Read the comments from people that have experienced Canadian health care, particularly the one below.

Quote:
Actually I lived in British Columbia, Canada when my husband pastored a Church there. Believe me, contrary to these U. S. insurance companies generated lies, there are NO death panels! As a matter of fact, I had my second heart surgery there. No problem for this American to be immediately admitted for surgery and when I was discharged, my total bill was $1.00 a day for every day I was hospitalized. Although I had private insurance from my employment in Alaska still in force, BCHIS insurance paid the bill because the hospital said it cost them way too much to collect from US Insurance companies and since I was in BC long enough to qualify, they would bill BCHIS, the Provincial Insurance plan. Canadians at that time thought that U S was so archaic since we had no universal insurance plan. Provinces in Canada each have insurance plans so no one in Canada is without medical care. Saves lots of money with early intervention. As an RN who worked in several states in the US. I saw the saddest cases when medical care was not available to Americans during the early stages of their illness.

Why does my source matter when these are actual things Fox said/did?

Not saying Media Matters has no agenda, but come on

Because Media Matters has been proven wrong over and over again.

And before you ask me in what way, that has been shown before in other threads.
