Please Palin and Reagan shouldn't be in the same conversation. Though I'm not a Reaganite, he was an accomplished politician before he won the presidency.
Reagan had the fame first to help him win elections, but Palin is saying the same kind of stuff.
As far as accomplished politicians, what the hell does that mean today?
Modern day politicians especially on the far left miss manage public funds, many don't listen to the people and spend like crack addicts.
Palin would be a welcome change IMO.

Do you mean the "accomplished politician" who couldn't even finish her term as Governor...?

Reagan was the Governor of California from 1967-1975. He was an accomplished politician. Palin-ites are the same people who said that Obama didn't have enough experience. (time will tell) Now you people are willing to vote for Palin Talk about hypocrisy!
Yes, Palin is TRYING to articulate the same message as Reagan, but she literally can't...
COURIC: "Why isn't it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries? Allow them to spend more, and put more money into the economy, instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?"
PALIN: "That's why I say I, like every American I'm speaking with, were ill about this position that we have been put in. Where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh, it's got to be about job creation, too. Shoring up our economy, and getting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade -- we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today. We've got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation."
ABC was kind enough to release the unedited transcripts of the Palin-Gibson hatchet job. Perhaps you have a link to the unedited CBS transcripts.
Hummmmm, suspect palin would compare herself to the "Queen Toad Mother" if she thought it would get her votes. She is also way to fond of seeing herself on TV, going back to comparative mythology, Narcissus comes to mind.

- A grandiose sense of self-importance.
- Fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty or ideal love.
- Believes he or she is "special" and understood only by special people (or institutions).
- Requires excessive admiration.
- Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
- Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends.
