Ah yes, another prediction, like the UE rate and jobs "created" down the tube of obama policy.

Health plans for high-risk patients attracting fewer, costing more than expected

Quote:
Under the sprawling health-care legislation that Democrats pushed through Congress in March, the special health plans were designed as a temporary coping mechanism for a small but important niche among the nation's 50 million uninsured: people who have been rejected by insurance companies because they already are sick.
375,00 were predicted to sign up by the end of 2010 - only 8,000 have enrolled.

Here is an example of things to come;

Quote:
New Hampshire's plan has only about 80 members, but they already have spent nearly double the $650,000 the state was allotted in federal money to help run the program, said J. Michael Degnan, its director.
The details and consequences of the reckless passage of the monstrosity known as obamacare will be felt far and wide. Just wait another year, when the 80% who had insurance and were happy with what they have, start to see their premiums rise from this ruinous legislation....right around election time. Obama and the dems and their unconstitutional steaming pile of dung.

From the Washington Post article:
Quote:
Wilson remembers tears streaming down his face in February 2009, the night that he watched Obama vow to Congress, "Health-care reform cannot wait, it must not wait, and it will not wait another year!"
Wilson became an activist for health reform, circulating petitions, going to demonstrations. And the day after the president signed the bill into law, a Chicago Sun-Times column quoted him as saying, "I've had a grin on my face all day" at the prospect of the high-risk pool he could join. That was before the rates were announced in July and Wilson discovered that the premium - nearly $600 a month - "was almost as much as my rent. It was like, no way! I was floored."
He was "floored?" Really? How much does he think health care costs, and who did he think was going to pay for it?

Default One major problem on the Left...

The Left has a huge problem when it comes to fashioning big government solutions: nobody on that side seems to understand arithmetic, let alone economics. Sanrene's citation is example #14,137 of this syndrome.

Tell me, did you think the HCB was a good thing? Did you ignore those who tried to point out these problems would exist before the bill was passed and called us hateful for simply pointing out facts?

You forgot racist. We were also called racists for pointing out the very obvious problems with the HCB because Obamabots are stuck on Obama's race, and don't ever bother to think about the real issues and think about the consequences of the poorly-crafted legislative 'solutions.'

Does it make you happy to know you believed a bunch of lies, trickery and gimmicks from this president and democrat congress who shoved this 2700 page monstrosity down the throats of the American people, using procedural trickery, back room deals, payoffs, double counting techniques and just plain LIES?

SOME of us on here and in the media were telling exactly what would happen, but instead, obama's die hard supporters chose to believe him, his minions and the propaganda and lies about obamacare.
