At the White House on Dec. 15, business executives asked President Obama for a tax holiday that would help them tap more than $1 trillion of offshore earnings, much of it sitting in island tax havens.
The article didn't say whether or not they got that tax break or whether or not Obama told Congress.
BAU..big business schmoozing with the government. I'm sure they promised Obama there would be zillions of "new jobs" created if they could bring their money home.
