You mentioned the newborn dying in your post but there was no mention of it in those links.
Right there in post #12.
So there was heavy snow falling, which has happened before, with a much better response from the city........so I guess because there was snow falling, that would justify a sanitation union slowdown? Un-plowed streets, EMTs, ambulances, can't get to the people, and baby, that needs help. 9 hours this newborn waited.
There are almost certainly grounds for criminal charges against union members for their behavior. They are without doubt guilty of manslaughter when death occurs as a result of their actions. Finding the individual workers in a given instance, then charging them along with the bosses, would have a most salutary effect on those who would hold the populace hostage as well as punish them for their actions causing death. There are also grounds for suing the union, or unions, involved. Unions have plenty of money, money deserved far more by the families who have lost loved ones as a result of the conduct of those unions.
Yeah but not in post #1 where you mentioned the baby dying, if you are going to make a claim post a
link in THAT post and not 11 posts later.....sheesh.

It adds to the drama and is unthinkingly snapped up. All the better an anvil for which to wield ones club. Thats why unions should never do these things, they are facing a well funded enemy with a media empire at its disposal, as well as an army of 24/7 spinners
I guess the never heard of snowmobiles in New York, its not like it never snows in NY. I'm sure the ski resorts have tracked vehicles for emergency response units. We have them out here, and when the needs are urgent we use them to get to areas that are heavily snowed in.

Here is one that could even plow the roads on its way to a 911 emergency.
Here's one that could would be the equivalent to an ambulance.
