It's funny how, when someone who actually has some working knowledge and participated in the situation, comes on. The conspiracy people disappear.

Two things.

First, your response does not address my question, merely side steps it.

Second, why should we believe you? You are a anonymous poster whose claims are backed by nothing but your say so. Yet you claim others with the same credentials could not possibly be correct.

Political reaction or bias?

Kind of like you when facts that you don't approve of are presented to you?

Once again, where are the credentials of this poster who you automatically agree with because of his claims?

What facts? I believe we are still waiting to find out what the facts are.

Eeesssh, this can't be good. So first it's they ordered a slowdown now it's they went for some beers. I'll tell you this keeps getting worse for the union.

A few isolated incidents from a few rogue workers who happen to be in a union does NOT add up to a "union work action." This whole thread you've been acting like the entire body of sanitation workers are in on some sort of giant conspiracy. Again show me proof that a thousand people were in on some sort of work slow-down.

Yet you are willing to believe the OP and the anonymous three "whistle blowers" that are the bases for this whole thread.

There are approximately 5800 sanitation workers. The lowest amount in the history of the Department.

There is much to be discussed.
What kind of equipment besides garbage trucks with plows on the front does the city use to clear snow? I can't imagine those garbage trucks are all that easy to maneuver down a lot of residential streets. How many dump trucks with under body scrapers, pick up trucks with plows, front end loaders, etc., do they run? And does the city bid out snow removal on sidewalks, city parking lots and bike trails or is the sanitation department responsible for them as well? I heard someone criticizing the city on a video because bike trails were done before the streets, but that could easily be explained if those were bid out to small, private contractors who each only had a few miles of trails to maintain not to mention they wouldn't be clogged up with abandon cars.

Why are you so keen on defending them ?
You seem to have all the loose ends nicely explained.
Are these all facts or are you assuming all these things happened ?
