To find the article that is now all over the internet ....
[SIZE=2]
Search for:

"Almost everything in America is a crime now: 14 of the most Rediculous things Americans are being arrested for"

Among the 14 things include a thirteen year old boy arrested for farting in class; a 12 year old arrested for opening a Christmas present too early; a 70 year old woman handcuffed and arrested for having a brown lawn; a rape victim beaten, bruised, handcuffed and arrested by TSA for not allowing her breasts to be touched at the airport and more.

Another interesting fact I learned is that although Americans represent 5% of the world's population 25% of the world's population are incarcerated here. Isn't that ironic for a supposedly "free" country?

Did you also know that if everyone was given 1750 square feet of space to live the entire world's population could fit in the state of Texas? So much for over population of the world...

Be fair.... search just for dumb laws, America doesn't have the corner on people being arrested because of stupid laws.......

Overpopulation? shouldn't that be another thread onto itself? What does that have to do with the OP?

A land to flee, because you're a slave.

Things got to change.

It is not the population, per se. It is the resources that the population uses. Just think of how many trees are used in the building of ONE house, or how much water ONE PERSON uses in a year's time. The reason that the overpopulation of the world is a concern has nothing to do with SPACE, and everything to do with how to keep people fed and watered and sheltered.

Unfortunately, there are HUGE, HUGE parts of our country and the world where there is no (or very limited water), and the soil is not able to produce food for the population. And that isn't even considering the amount of trash and waste that is produced that we must deal with.

The over consumption mentality of the "developed" nations of this world is putting severe stresses upon all of the resources of the world and causing critical shortages of many natural resources.

So us not having the market cornered on stupid laws makes this O.K.? America is SUPPOSED to be a powerhouse role-model. Yea. We're doing a bang-up job.

Except if you're here illegally, that's not a crime.

Sadly, we have become a society run by lawyers.

So instead of "I'll sue you", it's now become "I'll have you arrested"....

True. You can't even write a book about how to become a pedophile anymore without having to fear that some crazy Sheriff from Polk County, Florida will have you arrested.

Whatever happened to freedom of speech?
