Hope he isn't spending as much on each of his trips as he did on that lavish Hawaiian Vacation he just took!

His czars and other White House staffers can take care of things quite well, I am sure. Why do we need him at the White House as long as those czars, especially Cass Sunstein are in attendance at the WH? I am very serious about this.

It is stunning that such a pathetic excuse of a President (Obama, if you are not sure who I am referring to) would conduct himself and his court as if they were royalty. They is exactly what George Washington was objecting to when he declined to be King, and the Founders settled on President as the head of state.

Strutting around like some third world potentate.

Unfortunately, you are probably quite right. Sustein, Jennings, and Jones (prior to his formal departure), et.al are probably signing him up for these trips. Makes it easier for them to get their dirty work done.

I'm thinking that sitting in the WH 24/7 isn't exactly the best way to be POTUS. And I'm not sure why people expect this. Actually, I don't think they do...I don't think they really have any idea about it. They are just "enraged" because they don't like Obama and it's what everyone is talking about so jumping on the bandwagon is the path of least resistance.. End. Of. Story.

Have you compared his travel time to past presidents to put it in perspective? Seems like that might help some.

I read the thread title quickly and thought (briefly) that it said he was time traveling...from the future!

[that's why we haven't seen his birth certificate - he hasn't been born yet!]

I thought that too for a second - LOL!!

But hasn't Obama's travel time (not time travel, hehe) already been discussed ad nauseum? I didn't participate in that thread, but it seemed everyone proved he's not traveling more than any other president... in fact, I do believe GW won that contest.

P.S. If it's any consolation to the Obama administration, you must be doing okay if there are multiple discussions on your vacations... I think we were discussing much more important things when other presidents were in office.
