Hardly. The Tea Party has not been violent. This is more like Obama's buddy Bill Ayer's and Michelle's gal pal Bernadine Dohrne's Weathermen revisited.

Independent Lens . THE WEATHER UNDERGROUND . The Movement | PBS

SDS is quite active with the current young Socialists. Ask SCOTUS Justice Elana Kagen about her involvement with promoting the group's causes at Harvard.

Don't have time or inclination to cover what has already been extensively covered here on C-D, and which you have already probably also commented upon. But let's give a little background so you can google if you so wish:

*Threats called directly to Nancy Peolosi and her husband by tea party

*Virgina tea party lists addresses of Tom Perrilo. Where the head tea party guy "suggests" that people drop by and deliver a "personal touch" to that Rep. And then some tea party looney cuts the gas line to the house.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5pdwTQ4xA8

Just for a quick sample.

Not by any stretch of the imagination is it like anything the weatherman did, and your insinuation shows you didn't watch the video. And if you did, it clearly shows your attempt of hyperbolic rhetoric and rhetorical frothing.

The tea party is already frothing at the mouth to eject the Republican cardboard placards they helped to place in congress for the new session. We'll see how the Republicans deal w/ the threats. I expect new NSA & DHS investigations will start quickly.

Oh please. You talk about edited videos and you post this crap? I didn't know a "personal touch" meant violence. Is that personal touch anything like what SEIU did to the BoA guy on his front lawn? If you consider acts like that violence, then the left definitely owns that.

I found the video a little.....underwhelming.

But then so is the whole narrative about "tea party violence". It just ain't there. However the media sure has tried to convince us that it is. From the Kentucky census worker to Joe Stack, the media has worked tirelessly to portray all those who dare oppose the present regime as a dangerous element. Didn't work.

It's so funny when conservative folks get their shorts all itchy over a few extreme liberal lunatics inciting violence...while ignoring the extreme conservatives lunatics who do the same.

Guess what, guys: there are always some fringe lunatics on both sides out there calling for revolution. Try to avoid the temptation to dishonestly implicate everyone who disagrees with you on the basis of their actions.

You must not read many of their blogs. Because, yes. They do.

Interesting cut and paste video, thing is it does not even prove out what they say it does. No one was advocating a violent revolution but there were warnings that if we end up with a society of have and have nots and we end up with too many have nots they will revolt sooner or later. FY that is a true statement, but then some seem to forget history has proven over and over that to be true, the right should heed the warning or be doomed to repeat it.
Now if you want to talk about who Has suggested that we need a violent revolution it would be the rightwngers. I have seen threads on Every discussion board I have been on, including this one, were rightwingers suggest exactly that, that is not deniable because we have all seen them. Some people whine the loudest about things they themselves are guilty of.
