Seriously, what cultural and psychological factors are at play here? Is it that they are feeling increasingly threatened by what they perceive to be a burgeoning anti-white male social atmosphere? Despite still being the dominant racial/gender demographic in American society, many white men seem to complain that their image is being freely tarnished for the sake of diversity.
What is the nature of the frustration some young white males experience such that they would be driven to unspeakable acts of violence and terror, acts which certainly do not help to counteract this supposed collective assault on their image? I really would like to know.
I'm not a white male, and I'm sure that specific cases have different contributing factors, but I suspect that being crazy as sh*t and being unable and unwilling to get help probably plays a large role.

Take race out of it and you'd have an interesting premise for a thread.
What drove to DC Snipers to mass murder? They weren't white yet they still killed a number of people. No race gets a free pass when it comes to abhorrent behavior.
A more realistic question that would be more likely to encourage useful conversation rather than pointless divisiveness would be what drives people to mass murder.

Males are definitely over-represented, though. I would put the gender difference down to differences in testosterone levels.
You have to admit that 30 and 40 years ago...even 20 years ago, there weren't as many drugs. There also weren't nearly as many kids on drugs and there also weren't any crazy shootings which were all done by deranged kids on drugs much more recently...including even the so called "Muslim terrorist" bombings and attempts.

Absolutely-- emily you hit the nail on the head. This is not about politics or Libs vs. Cons or white males or anything else. It's about mental illness and mental illness exacerbated by DRUGS. And people still want to legalize street drugs..?? Yeah, fabulous idea...... not......
