Have you ever seen a pi***ed off hormone ridden teenager? Now someone wants to let them bring swords to school? What the hell is going on in this country that this would even be considered?
NO,NO & NO weapons in school, any school, period.
Leave any & all religion that advocates for the carrying of any weapons by kids, out of our schools.
It's not a sword, it's just a dagger.
If it's superglued and ducktaped into the sheath then it's ok.

Maybe they can make rubber daggers since it's just the symbolism they seem to be going for. If they can be "superglued" into their sheath what the hell is the point anyway? It's not longer the thing is was made to be, it's been altered. So alter the material.
I'm just going to say this is stupid and religious freedoms have gone to far by everyone. I'm sick of it all. If you want to be religious 24/7 then stay home. If you want a public school education then follow the rules. They really aren't that hard.

Now that is a wonderful idea. Make it out of rubber or foam.
Well if Christian Americans can't display their religious symbols, then why should everyone else from every other part of the world believe they have the right?
Christians display their religious symbols all the time. Have you never seen someone wearing a cross on their necklace or earrings?
Anyway, easy solution. Just make a symbolic sword that can't really cause any damage. Maybe by making a plastic version, or even sewing together felt or some other soft fabric into the shape of a sword, so the symbology remains without the danger.
