This seems difficult for the PDS sufferers to grasp but the show wasn't canceled,there was only going to be one season...

The first step in fighting PDS is to admit you have a problem....

I think you're right that there was only supposed to be one season to begin with--it wasn't cancelled. Besides making money, I'm thinking it was supposed to be the introduction of a warmer and more human Sarah to the public--that people would like her better if they saw her as a real human being, and she'd have a better shot at raising her approval ratings for a presidential run. It looks like it backfired--that woman doesn't know how to speak without being snarky.
