I don't care anymore if these Westboro Baptist whack-a-doos don't actully commit violence themseleves, but it's about time we as a people unite do and make sure something is done about this group... And I suggest either a beatdown from the Hell's Angels or maybe a Mafia-style disappearance from the face of the Earth.

This is stupid and wrong...but is exactly how the whackos make their money...because they file lawsuits and win...so you're best way of dealing with them is to insulate the mourners and families with those tsupporters that can keep these whackos at bay...without resorting to any physical confrontations...thats exactly what they want and hope for...you'd just be playing into their strategy....

This church group has been spewing their evil and hate for a long time at so many of our soldier's funerals. They seek attention and make their money off those that continually engage them by suing, as the family is made up of lawyers.
The case is currently before the Supreme Court, but I doubt if they will rule against Westboro. The best you can do is ignore them.
Although the AZ shooting is a terrible tragedy, I am tired of the 24/7 coverage being afforded it. No wonder Westboro is jumping on the bandwagon.

You obviously have not suffered the loss of a loved one who was doing their duty and sacrificing their lives for our freedom only to have these whackos at the funeral for your family...insulting you and your deceased relatives who died for the right of these whackos to say what they want where they want and to whom they want. Hipocrisy at its finest.

They also have Christians standing between the mourners and the wackos. Don't put all Christians in their nut house. Most people at the funerals will be Christian.
No one wants to stop free speech but if they are disrupting a religious event they should be charged with that. So far, no one has tried to charge them with that.
