McCarthy pointed out, accurately, that the State Department was infested with Communist agents. Now that Soviet archives have been declassified, we have discovered that he was right. McCarthy was not chastised for being right. He was chastised for those many more times when he was wrong in judging, discriminating and denigrating those that did not deserve it.
To victimize those who do not create victims in any way, Gays, is immoral.
Expressing any point of view right or wrong is no crime. However acting on said crimes you promote is by all means a crime. Sometimes i feel some use their Church as a tool, to promote something other then what a Church stands for. It is never good to carry any religion to a extreme.
I really don't thnik that those two represent chriatian mainstream at all. Certainly no more than violent secualr gropus or individuals represent the mainstream secualr society.

I agree with your post but must add a correction. It was White and Alger Hiss who were lionized by the Left. Whittaker Chambers was the one who turned his back on communism and testifed against Hiss before the House UnAmeican Activies Committee (HUAC) and at Hiss' trial for perjury before that same committee.
They are the most vocal of the Churches perhaps but they say in public what the majority of U S churches preach.
Michael Moore speaks to the backward U S states that have the same values as Phelps.
You cannot run and hide. Christianity and Islam are in bed on this issue.
P S. Westborough, as I understand it, are tax exempt and that makes them a Church.
