or prove of loyalty to a gang by randomly killing another human being. (sarcasm).
Your post is stupid.
Actually his post is very valid. In most gangs at some point in time killing somebody is REQUIRED to show how loyal you are to your gang. It's also used to permanently embed a person into the gang lifestyle. Once you kill somebody that information can be used against you to keep you in the gang.
Are gang related murders considered a mass murder?
Not in the same way that the murders in Tucson Arizona are. Gang related murders are conducted as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise usually related to drugs dealing, extortion, gambling, smuggling and other criminal activities. There appears at the present time to be no criminal motive for what happened in Tucson, Arizona this past weekend.
Keep in mind that OP original question and premise which is "What exactly makes white males want to commit acts of mass murder"
The real issue is what makes some White males want to commit acts like we just saw happen in Tucson, Arizona? The fact that White Males may or may not commit these acts at higher rates per capita than other groups is a completely different topic of discussion than the question is there something going on culturarly with White males that makes them commit acts of mass murder.
The OP seems to be based upon the idea that young white men do this more than any other group....and is that actually a fact or simply just an opinion?

Does this not show a lack of basic human emotions?
Would not a person who does such a thing be in the same camp as the shooter in AZ?

.
The OP was also implying that white males commit these kind of murders because they felt that their status as a white male was being threatened. That's retarded.

In fact for a long time the FBI criminal profilers started off with the basic premise that a serial killer was a white male. I don't know if it stills hold true today.
What about the Zodiac? He was never caught but I think he was always considered to be white, wasn't Jack the Ripper as well.
