I'm quite sure I and a vast majority of other gun owners in the US are not among the we to whom you refer, regardless of the bogus numbers in this BBC article.
Dude. Chill. Read above. I personally have 4 handguns, an assault rifle, and a crossbow. No one is taking them from me.

Dudette, thank you. Then why did you make that silly post of "why don't we re-instate the AWB"?

I suspect you are using the "assault rifle" terminology incorrectly per the Clinton definition rather than the technical definition, would that be correct?

With due respect, because I am very pro right to own weapons but...........

While I haven't verified the other statements you listed I do know that the Sarah Brady one is a myth. I am no Brady fan at all but twisting the facts to further a political agenda no matter who does it I don't agree with.

That statement was obviously done by someone wanting to promote the "scary socialists out to take over" propaganda.

Besides common sense to me would be anybody with a real agenda like that wouldn't outright admit it like that plus the justification for the 2nd amendment is worthy enough without the need for falseness to defend it.

I think that all Americans should be able to own all the guns they can afford, even the most lethal and sophisticated assault guns. For those who have the money and room can purchase howitzers.

Like I said I am no fan of Brady and those like minded to her, but the "take over America" one was just out there. We know the anti gun people twist facts, I'd rather take the high road and not stoop to their level.
