The far left Daily Kos also used 'targets' on their site, and specifically for Giffords as a Dem who was not following the party line.

Just after 9/11, and during the Gulf and Iraqi war, the media called out football announcers for using terms like "bombs" "field generals" "it's a war out there" "battling" "sacrifice" etc. - terms that have been in use for, oh, 40 years or more.

'cause, you know, the average fan is wholly incapable of discerning between a Steelers/Ravens game and people being shot at and dying overseas.

It's called over-reaction.

Same thing applies here

Quick quiz. Who said the following:

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,”

They want to win the votes of firearm fetishists. I think they're growing in numbers.

One glance at that video of Palin attempting to fire a rifle made it obvious that Palin is a amateur where fire arms are concerned.

Limbaugh, well a pimple on his backside stopped him from serving, what was his motto, onward Aussie soldiers ?
Again, what he would know about firearms could be put on the sharp end of a pin.
Traditionally when Conservative groups in this country haven't been able to achieve their goals through the political process they have resorted to violence. This not not anything new.

And the left wonders why Conservatives can't find common ground with them.

Do you not see the difference between a bullseye and the sight from a gun?
