I'm just expecting more from elected officials and people in positions of influence than I am some entertainer who only wants to make money and shock people.

Me too.

Of course I'm sure you've been just as let down and disappointed as I've been with our so-called "leaders" in DC, Sacramento (you) and Trenton (me).

Madonna...well whoever passes as THE Musician of the moment.

Most young people wouldn't even know who was VP.

So political rhetoric is bad and exacerbates the problems in our society...

But violent music, violent video games, and violent movies and TV do not.

Madonna? Gangster rap?

why should eithers have 'more' meaning???

if biden or cheney both said the same as madona, springsteen or 50cent does it matter...if the persons refers to volence (let's kill cops, let's hang bush or obama, let's kill all the lawyers, etc), is it not the same no matter whom it comes from???

as country joes said, "one, two, three ,what are we fighting for"
