I would be applying at every Walgreens, WalMart, restaurant, etc. to fill the void until I found something in my profession. Do I want to work at WalMart scrubbing nasty bathrooms? Hell no. Interesting.... pay at Walmart would support your family?
It must then be a living wage....

Oh that's right! I think about 75% dropped out of it.
Just like when HC was first brought up that he suggested that Americans have the same coverages like the members in Congress = another BS.

BTW: I say about 1.9 million homes repossessed in 2011.

Agree. Lots of those people probably could afford those mortgages before so many jobs got shipped overseas.

Try listening to WHAT REALLY HAPPENED | The History The US Government HOPES You Never Learn! Mike Rivero has a lot to say about the foreclosure fraud in his streaming 2-hour daily program.

Typical right wing BS, that completely distracts from root cause: horrible economy throughout the 2000s.

Or, perhaps you can explain how many of these foreclosed homes qualified for CRA...

I agree, too many people bought into crappy loans just so they could get a house even knowing they really couldn't afford it or knowing the house was overpriced. I do feel sorry for those who lost their jobs and thus lost their home but I bet the majority did the first.

I bought a home in 2004 and I know what kind of tactics were used to push loans on to people. Believe me it's not just people buying too much house, both sides helped to create this monster. I walked out of many brokers' offices because they would push certain loans and always said, don't worry you can always come back and refinance the loan.

This is truly frightening.
