LMAO, she is a damn [MOD CUT] She thinks she is big and tough with her words and lifestyle but chooses to remain in the Faux News comfort zone. Maybe she should go on Olbermann and get some practice in debating and handling a line.
No, she won't go on Letterman's show because I believe she's afraid of him. You may not like him or his type of humor, but he is an intelligent and sharp-witted person. She simply cannot keep up with people like that.
Are you serious? Politically speaking, Letterman is a dimwit. He should stick with comedy, and even there he could use some help!
This is true, they have spent billions on the "Palin Plan", They will try to salvage as much as they can, she seems to have self destructed the plan for the WH, but she still has commercial appeal to a few million people. They will spend a little now, to try and milk as much wasted money back that they can.
It really doesn't make any difference whether Palin does interviews elsewhere or not anymore. That ship sailed a long time ago. And even if she did now, the only reason it would be a ratings boost is because it would be perceived as a cage fight, where people might tune in to see an epic fail.
It sure isn't because there is anyone left in America who thinks that Palin has something new to say that she has been withholding until the right moment. If someone isn't already a Palin fan, there isn't a thing she could do at this late date to turn them into a supporter - while she dallied, that ship left port also. Other than for the reality show aspect of watching her with a reporter outside of her comfort zone hoping to see some kind of implosion or fireworks, no one is actually expecting her to say anything other than the same stuff they've heard for the last 2 years, and in the same tone. She is what she is, and in the future, you won't see much deviation from that.
If you like it, you are probably a supporter. If you either don't like it, or can't understand what she says or don't know who she is other than a reality tv star, you've already moved on. I don't think she should bother with doing interviews outside of Fox, etc, unless it is for her own personal financial reasons, because after waiting this long, there is nothing else besides $$ to gain from doing so.
Because given her approval ratings, I don't see that she is likely to win much of anything in the future. Her base will not provide the votes she will need to win a general election. So if the added supporters/votes that she needs to win in a general election aren't being provided by her limited appearances on Fox and Facebook, then how does she plan to reach those additional voters to convince them to vote for her? Another interview by Hannity is no help in that regard. I've come across people who don't keep up with this kind of trivia, and can't really remember who Palin is other than some name they remember from the election.
It is like watching the wind-down of an aging movie star who only focuses on dispensing photo ops and trivia for his/her loyal fans, while fading into obscurity for the rest of the population. The only pop out of obscurity came from pissing people off by playing victim during a national tragedy, while real victims are awaiting burial. That isn't a vote getter from the general population, either - our nation has real problems. People don't have jobs. Or homes. Are living paycheck to paycheck. They really don't give a darn about celebrities who send out video via Facebook that their personal world is falling apart because people are picking on them unfairly by saying mean things, or keep up with the demands for apologies for hurt feelings. Stuff like this from Palin just isn't important to most people anymore, no matter how much the msm tries use it to fill a 24 hour news cycle.

Yup...
Palin is about 14:48 into her 15 minutes of fame. Her booster is flaming out as we speak. She'll continue on the current trajectory for a short time before coming back to earth, though.

she will not go away as you wish due to her fund raising ability
The way Palin handles herself when under pressure is what is going to end her chances of a run for the White House. She can't keep herself cocooned with just Fox pundits if she wants to show her mettle to the general public.
