The whole reason to have unlimited immigration is to bring in unlimited supplies of cheap labor to destroy the supply and demand aspect of wages.
Absolutely not true and I have no clue where you get your information from.

I am not for unlimited immigration (we already have enough people here), I am not for the Dream Act (unless someone joins the military and is willing to put his life on the line), I am not for FREE health care (but I am sick of being raped by insurance companies and would just like to pay a reasonable premium).

You are so far off base it's incredible.

For those who don't have family or friends to fall back on, isn't is really government and business's responsibility to provide for some kind of housing? I mean, we bailed out Wall Street. Now it's their turn. What's your opinion?
I certainly think we can do better than we have been doing for the homeless or people who have been losing their homes and camping in tents. I think Nixon had a good idea for the down and out and it was in the form of working ranches. People would have small cabin/homes and a communal kitchen and raise a lot of their own food. I would rather live in something like that than a tent or car. We used to have "flop" houses or poor houses as they were called and there are as we are all aware of, plenty of empty buildings in the inner cities that could be rehabed. After WWII the governent gave empty homes to the returning veterans and I would support that instead of tearing them down or letting them rot.
I don't however think it is necessary to bleed the taxpayers for one more dime, but look to the waste our government is participating in and use some of those dollars. We have some very pampered leadership hiring housekeepers to the tune of $57,000 a year on our dime along with personal drivers for $97,000 a year. This woman works in the treasury department for the grand old state of Ill.

That's good, and exactly what i think the Govt is up to. This has a few to many 'coincidences' to be much of anything else, IMO.

GB senior mentions NWO, Bill sells us out and has EPA get far to strong, odd assorted insects and rodents are claimed to be rare and land owners suddenly can't use their bought land for what they want.

Industry is all but shut down, at the same time Bill makes money for free. Shortly tax rates are lowered in a audit, but the audit increases the value of private property, and in the end taxes go up.

All commodity goes up. All necessitys go up, and are still going up, while the dollar falls.

How do you get the people to willing enter into something they would fight to the teeth to avoid?

You break their bank, that's how.

How do you get people to take vera chip? You break their bank.

How do you get people to agree bodily groping and naked scan pictures 'protect', you force that a little at a time, Air-ports today, busses tomorrow, malls and public events. TSA gropings and body scans will not be a problem for much longer commrade.

This is working in orderly fashion just like clockwork. It's no accident.

Ya know, i really hope I am wrong.....

Sindey, I think she means proffesional welfare recipients. many have aka names, and collect many checks. Some live very well, better than upper middle class and have for all their lives. Welfare if done right can be a full time occupation.

If she means that then I will apologize, I guess I am to quick to jump to conclusions because I read so many posts & threads with those who outright hate poor people.....Thanks for pointing that out.....

Becoming poor in the USA is pretty easy. Getting back out isn't. I think welfare should have some serious limits. I never had that, but i did get knocked squarley on my butt financially.

I got hurt on the job in 87 and was to expensive to fix. Workers comp ran me down in spiked boots.

That caused the loss of everything I had, family, friends, all possessions and most tools.

It was then I discovered what pre existing condition meant. It means you will never work again because no one will hire you.

It took a while for my body to recover and i fought for that. I still live in pain, but I suck it up as best I can, but can be downed as if a time bomb went off in my spine with 0 warning.

I didn't take any welfare, which might be my only saving grace. Instead I lived a lot like a cave man and made items from the woods to sell in consignment shops, and learned to eat wild plants.

Later I saw a lot of people all in one place, it's called pine ridge, where just about everyone is on welfare. i was there by accident and had a accident to be there. I was just passing thru and crashed at 15 mph on a motorcycle breaking 3 ribs, and cutting my cuttent wife's arm to take 3 stitches. best I can tell the trailer the motorcycle was towing jumped the hitch and the safety chains took us down.

Anyway what this welfare does is ruin people. The have no ambition but to wait for the next months payment, which comes as a credit card. It lasts about 2 weeks worth of partyin' candy, booze on a dry rez, and then it's starvation time again.

In turn this causes all sorts of poor behaviors, wife beatings, child abuse, and plenty of other illegal action. On 'payday' just over the border in Nebraska the liquor store does one bang up business.

Sure no one can use that credit card for booze, but they have ways of trading them in at a discounted rate for cash.

Pretty sad state of affairs to witness. All the time natives there offered me a beer, but I refused every one. First thing I did after getting my bike fixed and getting out of there was hit a bar in Rapid City for alot more than just one beer. My tea tottler wife even had a few, and we took a room.

There is a lot of ways to get poor and stay poor, like i said.
