Billy mahron lost it years ago when he praised terrorists for their bravery.
Libs just adore him.
Not exactly true. People on his show were saying those people were cowards, and Maher said, no they were not cowards. That's different from "praising" them. It's just a reality check. If you look up the definition of "coward" I think you will see that. People who are so strongly motivated that they can take over an airplane and crash it into a building, etc., killing themselves in a very violent manner, are many many HORRIBLE THINGS, but the word "coward" does not seem to fit. A "coward" seems to be a person who would run and hide and protect themselves at all costs, go to extremes, even sacrificing their friends, family, etc., in order to save their own lives.
Even if Bill Maher is 'slipping, he is still laughing all the way to the bank, so it's a moot point.
All of these guys like Maher,Stewart,Colbert,Limbaugh,Hanney & Beck are just there to make money & ratings, it's a JOB.
What has he done to support your assertion he hates America?
“How could you look at this and not immediately know what, at the core, is so rotten about this country? This is our real religion – greed,” Bill Maher
“How could you look at this and not immediately know what, at the core, is so rotten about this country? This is our real religion – greed,” Bill Maher
So saying that our "real religion" is "greed" means someone hates America?
If someone "hated" America, they were wealthy and had resources to live comfortably in another country, WHY would they bother staying?
Is saying anything which could be seen as critical of "America" proof, in your mind, that that person "hates America"?
Bill isn't "slipping" I watched that episode last Friday.
However, I disagree with him in part.
If we had a nationally paid for healthcare system, it would have been possible for Loughner to have gotten medical treatment for his insanity. Thats true, can't really argue with that.
Now, that said, someone would have had to report him, or he would have had to seek treatment himself for his insanity in order for that to have been a reality.
Could a national healthcare system have helped prevent this tragedy, possibly. Of course the same thing could have been said that, if the school had reported him correctly, the police department followed up right, his parents accepted that their son was insane and reported him.
All of these things could have prevented the Tuscon massacre, but hindsight is 20/20.
Bill Maher is a comedian. His opinion on political matters means about as much to me as Dennis Miller on Fox News does for me, not a lot. They can be funny, Bill I find funny quite a bit. Most of the times I watch his shows is because he will have someone on with an interesting POV that I'd like to hear. The episodes where there is no conservative on the panel, I generally don't watch. Either way, it doesn't effect my voting or political views, just taking in as much information as I possibly can.
Yes and now they have repealed health care, we can be assured less and less psychotics can get help
