Yeah sorry, not all of us worship at the temple of Steve Jobs and company. There are actually other phones and better phones at that out there than the iPhone believe it or not.

Really? I certainly hope not because that would be very ugly of someone to feel that way.

You shouldn't. The language used on this forum is censored by computer software. You should contact a Senior Mod to discuss your concerns.

True. You don't see multiple threads about 'crazy white people who murder other white people.' Where's the consistency in that?

It certainly came to the mind of a number of conservatives here at CD who immediately commented (before the shooter was identified) that Giffords may have been targeted because she was considered tough on illegal immigration.

I'm going to guess it's not MSNBC. I am just trying to get you to support your assertions. When one makes wild claims like NPR needs to be eliminated entirely, they sound foolish unless they can back it up. That's what I am asking you to do.. So far: bupkis...
My guess would be zero to none. NPR has become another hot button topic for the right wing to press on a slow news day. NPR covers the variety of topics that an intelligent person requires for mental stimulation and critical thinking, therefore, it is smeared by the right.

I do believe that there were some on this forum hoping that the shooter was a TEA Party member and were disappointed to find out otherwise.

I don't personally care much about who shoots people....an attack on an elected official is an attack on America as far as I'm concerned.

The only part of it that might have added to my anger would be if the person was an illegal and shouldn't have been in this country to have the ability to attack a public official.

I have no doubts that everybody on this forum was hoping that whoever the shooter was, it was somebody not like them.

Yeah, that was pretty obvious.
