Its not going to be repealed.

Republicans are just playing pretty for the base. I swear, if I were a Republican, I'd be down right pissed that they were wasting my tax dollars on a repeal bill that isn't going to do anything.

Most Americans don't like the healthcare bill in its current form. Somewhere around 80%. However, most of those folks want it to do more, not less.

If Republicans really wanted to do "what the people want", they'd submit changes to the bill that was already passed, and fix what can be fixed.

Instead, they are playing prom queen and putting on a show for people who would like them whether they did what was right or not.

Gosh, how many does it need to be said? Of course they can't repeal it outright, at least not yet, but they can and will cripple the funding. All the national polls show obamacare is more unpopular than ever.

If you look at some state polling, WI, WV, PA, MO it is even MORE unpopular than what the national polls say.

The defunding for this disaster will be tied to the CR and Debt ceiling - let's see obama refuse to sign those bills.

No, the polls show a 43% for and a 41% against repeal split.

And thats when you only give them "yay or nay" choices.

Over 60% of Americans want it to do more, and of the 43% who voted yay in the polls you're looking at, over half of them say that they would rather have it fixed than repealed outright, if given that choice.

Only about 23% of Americans actually want it repealed. Most everyone else wants a little less, or more.

A rice cake is better than nothing to an starving man.

You're looking at the AP poll, which is so far skewed to the democrats, it is totally discredited (look in that thread, you will see).

Rasmussen, CNN, Gallup, Quinnipiac, WaPo - repeal it.

AP, CNN, Times poll, etc.

Reuters is the only poll showing the numbers you're talking about, and they only asked

"Are you for or against healthcare repeal, yay or nay"

While some polls are answered with a simple yes or no, this is far from one of them.

this bill will make everything 100 times worse!! The reason medicine is so expensive is because the government is involved. Insurance companies and the government are one and the same. The government set the price of medicine, just like a communist or socialist country would. The way the U.S.A. government does it,is by set their price of what medicare or medicaid will pay hospitals and doctor.and that is what the rest of us has to pay. IT does not matter if we can afford it or not they are just worried about what their biggest costumer, the government and what they, are willing to pay. same with insurance. I don't even use my eye insurance because it is cheaper for me to buy glasses with my own money!! democrats need to stop trying to turn this country into a nanny state!!!! they screw everything up. it does not work never has never will!! give it up!!

It will be devastating if we don't let government control everything. All we need is a USSR system and we know how well they operated. 100% employment, all for the government.
