I like Sarah Palin a lot. She kind of reminds me of Ronald Reagan.

To be honest, I don't know exactly why I like her. Maybe because she doesn't whine and she doesn't seem like a know-it-all. Like Reagan, she seems happy just being who she is.

I do not want her as president, but I like the way she inspires people. During our Revolutionary War, Thomas Paine and Sam Adams inspired people, but when it came time for leading the country, people wanted Washington and John Adams.

If you don't like her, then I suggest you just ignore her. Her supporters would ignore any of your criticisms.

Many people feel that no one in an important position understands their concerns. Those people feel that Palin understands them, and it makes them happier. More power to her.

Hook line and sinker. I guess this proves that if Beck and Limbaugh say it enough times, it must be true.

She is so divisive. She inspires people like Glenn Beck "inspires" people.

This is how extremely dumb and unqualified I think Palin is; George Bush seems like a genius compared to her. At least coming from me, that's saying something.

The problem I have with most liberal ranting against Palin is that they do it based on what they are spoonfed from the liberal media. The fact that you don't even realize you're being manipulated leads me to discredit everything that comes out of your mouth.

I know enough to know I can't really comment on how smart she is, etc. I don't know that she's qualified to be the POTUS, but I don't think Obama is, either. So much for that argument...no one has been able to clearly demonstrate what the qualifications really are in the first place. Based on several people who have held the office, it's obvious that is a moving target.

I think I'd enjoy having a beer with Palin. We agree on many things from a political standpoint (though we disagree on a couple of major things). And she seems like a genuine person. I also enjoy the fact that she doesn't let the media bully her, either.

You people have created a sport out of making fun out of this woman. Fine. But then realize that reflects more poorly upon you than it does on her.

Matt,

Like it or not, believe it or not, I am not a true conservative. I am more a libertarian, and I will continue to say the media (except for talk radio) is very liberal..It always has been and is getting more so all the time.

I consider myself pretty solidly conservative (tea party leaning), but I don't understand what people see in Sarah Palin either.

I have yet to hear any really intelligent discussion of policy or any original ideas coming from her. Just wide eyed vacant smiles all the while spewing out one platitude after another.

I don't think she's unintelligent, just that she's more of a cheerleader than a potential leader. Good grief, what an embarrassment she would be on the world stage with her silly little giggles and ridiculous phrases (i.e.momma grizzly). Not that I don't think Obama isn't an embarrassment with his dropping to his knees to kiss the behinds of every America hater while turning his back on our allies.

I truly hope she doesn't run for president - she would indeed muck up the works and pretty much guarantee Obama's second term. That's something we can't afford to have happen - he's done more than enough damage already and will continue on to completely destroy this country if we can't come up with anyone more substantial than Palin.

I agree that she is divisive. However, once she divides people, the group that likes her is very large.

Glenn Beck has good ratings on TV, so it must be true that he inspires a lot of people.

Them's the facts.
