I don't believe it's the left making you dizzy if you're you unable to understand the vast difference between solving your own nation's problems and attempting to remake the world to your own image.
Most people suffering under the delusion of "American Excpetionalism" just can't grasp this.
Democracy is NOT an overriding concern for most Chinese people, having an expanding economy that is providing better jobs and more opportunity is.
The Politburo has done a better job of doing this for the past 30 years than ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT ON THE PLANET.
China would still be back in the stone age if it wasn't for the US cold war mentality (Nixon and Kissinger) and the corporate whores nowdays. China's (and India's) 'success' was more built by the US funneling money and technology rather than by the Politburo commies or their intristic qualities as a society. Then what the heck are doing pissing our money away in Iraq? Why did we 'stand up to' the USSR? Afghanistan? Pakistan? Rattle our sabres against Iran? We still have bases all over the world and strike aircraft carrier groups, yet China is still somehow 'special' for us to suck up to them?
