I don't know the nature of this man's mental disturbance, but I tend to be wary of assigning a label like "evil" to someone until his mental problems are identified and treated. We don't know what was going on in his head, we don't know what fantasy he'd created that resulted in the fixation on Congresswoman Giffords. We don't know a lot of things. And until we know more, I think we should avoid the rush to judgment.
I agree. A panel of psychiatrists was on TV Sunday talking about the possible mental disorders he could have and they all agreed that his use of illegal drugs and apparent lack of treatment for his mental disorder coupled together were the keys factors in pushing him to do what he did.

The flag burning, Bush-hating, truther, Loughner, appears to be mentally ill, but if you were forced to identify him politically, he is more closely aligned to the left.
