Ya, sure. That's why he was obsessed with killing a Democratic Representative. Aside from that little clue from all reports so far he wasn't into politics and even if he was---right or left---he is one sick puppy.
From what I had heard some of his writings seem to indicate he has a lot of communist/socialist leanings. He certainly isn't conservative.
I'm not suggesting he was motivated by politics...I think he is unstable and probably evil.
But it is interesting that the left seems to be trying to blame politics, or the media, or society....it's the conservatives that are saying maybe the guy is just evil.
