Are we turning a page in history with elected officials in our various Governments?

Is accountability and ethics, going to overpower lies and greed?

A lot of career politicians just lost their jobs, replaced by people that have never held political offices.

Truth and accountability, seems to be the new rage in D.C.
Progressive thinking is not getting the votes it once did.
Who changed the direction of D.C.?

Other than rhetoric name one thing that's actually changed.

Pretty sure, the 112th Congress is going to do what they said, when campaigning. Starting today, their very first legislative act.
It is a start, but the vote has yet to be taken....

We may have some new special interests being represented but I don't expect any real change. Congress obeys its owners with little/no regard for the country or the average American. The old saying still holds true, $$$ talks and BS walks.

The people are special.
It is a breath of fresh air, when the interest of the people are held accountable.

Watching C-Span House, this morning?
It is awesome to hear them going to do what they said they were going to do and immediately with a 2 page bill.

It would be nice if true. The truth is that too many people see government as a way for them to force their will on other people, and they will lie, cheat ans steal in order to get that opportunity.

No, too many drama queens on C-Span for my taste. And just how is this 2 page bill going to alter life in America?

I think the Tea Party especially, in addition to all those that care about debt, deficits will hold the newly elected member's feet to the fire. And we don't want them to be timid in the least.
