• Saudi King Abdullah gave nearly $190,000 (including jewelry set worth $132,000, a $14,200 pearl necklace, a $34,000 marble clock, and $7K of jewelry to the girls)
• Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi - $33K
• Chinese President Hu Jintao - $20K silk embroidery of the first family
• French President Nicolas Sarkozy - $4,500 black Christian Dior handbag
• British Prime Minister Gordon Brown - $16.5K
• Israeli President Shimon Peres - $8K bronze statue

There are others. I think I remember the Queen getting an ipod from Obama - HA! Seriously, I wonder what he has given to the other heads of state?

And don't forget the Constitution...

Article I, Sec. 9:No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.

Hopefully he will uphold this.

He has plenty of money from exploiting capitalism to sell his books. I'm sure he will handle this appropriately.
