A threat to the general welfare of the nation.

They put all before the human being.
The human is at the bottom of the totem pole, to radical environmentalists.
Extinction of mankind to save the Earth, is the mentality of the tree huggers.

Maybe to a select few, but most environmentalists I know or read about do it because they care about the future of the human race. Only thinking about the needs or wants of humans right now could jeopardize the future of future human generations.

The extinction of a species, or the survival of the human race.
Tree huggers will pick saving the species everytime. They have the EPA in their back pocket.

There's never been a case where "tree huggers" were faced with saving the human race or another species, so your hypothesis is only speculation.

How do tree huggers have the EPA in their pocket? Most hippy tree huggers I know spend all their cash on weed and vegan food.

Read up on the UN Agenda 21 aka Biodiversity and Wildlands restoration. It's sole purpose is to confine people to cities and pavement, and closing off rural areas and nature to anyone except for approved agricultural uses

I agree. We can't expect to live on earth without damaging or harming it (hopefully in as little as possible). What it all comes down to is choosing better solutions than current ones. Solar power is emission free but there will be issues with solar farms on deserts because they displace other species. It's unfortunate that it has to come down to choosing between more pollution from fossil fuels or relocating species, but it's one that has to be made.
Unless ya all just want to do away with electricity altogether.

When will the right wing learn? Most of these people are simple NIMBYs who are using environmental laws to justify their NIMBYism and they are not environmentalists. It's obvious is so many cases yet we still get the mindless bashing of environmentalists by the right wingers. It's sad that they fail to comprehend such a simple thing.

It is rather unfair; the plant can't get away. I'd recommend eating dirt instead, but that may infringe upon its rights as well.
