It is undeniable that Americans, White and otherwise have become highly complacent due to 'being on top' and very comfortable, as a result have we've developed an inferior work ethic in education and our jobs to certain other groups...

SAT and ACT tests are irrelevant, dated, and not universal. Most asian people who score high on them don't even care. With or without these tests, asians still dominate academically, financially, and socially. Asians are the reason why the US has a chance to compete... They take the least welfare, lowest in crime rate, and add a lot of tax revenue to the econmy. Hug the next asian you meet.
The 2010 SAT college entrance test results are in. Historically, back in the day when I went to MIT, the common wisdom was that Asians scored better in math, but were disadvantaged because of the verbal scores.

One of the main reasons is that it's a skewed sampling of population. For example, the typical Chinese person emigrating to the US, coming here to study etc. is a top 1% type.....not some semi-literate peasant or average wei factory worker.
So, not shockingly their kids tend to be smart, the family highly values academics, has a strong work ethic etc etc etc.

The same can be said for any cherry picked group via immigration. You can hug us for building a country where you can use your skills and prosper outside of oppressive, rampantly corrupt emerging nations.
It has nothing to do with your ethnicity anymore than it does that of some brilliant scholar that comes here from Nigeria or Syria.

There is a reason. They score an average of 105 on a certain "measure" that has fallen from politcal favor. They are a credit and great benefit to our melting-pot nation.

Somehow you read an example trying to help the OP understand sampling bias <> some sort of proof of racial acuumen and then made some rambling non-point.
