So true on everything else but just couldn't help myself about those darn light bulbs!!
So from your sarcasm, I take it it's ok as long as it's Obama's backers being involved?

So let me get this straight. You criticize the Republicans for being in bed with the corporations, but give the Democrats and especially Obama a free pass for being in bed with one of the largest, most influential corporations in the U.S.?

Honestly, have no idea what you're talking about. I hate the light bulbs. I think it was a wink-wink-nod-nod deal with the Dems to benefit GE.

If not for double standards, the left would have none!

No. I don't recall ever doing that. You must have me confused with someone else.

Funny, the right is constantly criticizing the POTUS for having no business experience but when he seeks advice or employs someone with quite a bit of experience with running a very successful business, they take issue with that as well.

By the way, one of GE's businesses is a bank, GEMB. I have been a GE employee now for four years. GE is a huge company so I can only speak for me but in comparison to other jobs, this is the best that I've had. When we did not receive any increases in 2009, no one did from the top down. Those who were laid off received decent severence packages and some have been rehired. Nothing is ever as simple or straight-forward as what you see on television.
