That House Republicans repealed laws protecting your children from insurance companies denying them health care or simply dropping your children if they become sick.

I'm the father of a 4 month old child. He's my entire world. What Republicans did to him is disgusting and irresponsible. What they did to your children is disgusting and irresponsible. I hope history views them accordingly.

So buy a Health Insurance plan the covers what you want and has a high enough limit that he won't be dropped. Be a responsible parent.

Of course, even then your kid is still covered by existing legislation. I lost my job in 2001. The state stepped in an provided coverage for my kid and even bought her a pair of hearing aids. But President Skippy won't tell you that when he spouts off about the evil health insurance boogeymen, will he?

Oh please, it is YOUR job to care for YOUR child.

And IF you are really in need, the safety net in the USA is in place.

I am all for protecting my kids. That's why I don't want that crap to ruin the good system we already have. So I hope you're counting yourself among those 2 that don't want to protect them.

No, I support regulating insurance companies so children will not get dropped or denied coverage. Why do you support ending protections for our children?

They have not repealed that. They only made a grand-standing play to their base. Without the Senate's concurrance and the approval of the President, which isn't coming, the law remains unchanged.
