You know, that is exactly what was said when ethanol first crept into gas stations en masse a few years ago. Now it is a challenge to find a station with 100% gasoline blends. In my area, all pumps have some ethanol blended into them, no doubt at the 10% maximum.

With the 15% approved, the higher blends will creep into regular gas just as it did before, even if it is claimed otherwise (as it was initially when 10% became the norm).

Say goodbye to your old clunker, because that poison will ruin your drivetrain.

Try finding a 100% gas blend in your area.

people who refuse to buy new cars are screwed, the poor people who fix up old cars to drive, so forth...

Ethanol DECREASES your MPG! Why don't they get that?

Let's say you buy a new compact car that gets 35 MPG. You get only 27 MPG. Why? 15% ethanol. Don't you feel ripped off now?

My problem with 15% is there isn't any current engine made to run the crap. Why is the EPA making any cioncession to create fuel no engine burns or is made to burn in the first place.

More so a fuel that cost GASOLINE to make 2 to 1?

First you build the engine to run on a given fuel, and then make the fuel, not the other way around.

The EPA is wacko nuts!
The EPA is wacko nuts!
The EPA is wacko nuts!

I own a motorcycle the EPA tampered with and the comp ration determines what fuel most any engine should need in octane. This engine is a mid level comp ratio at 9:1, yet the manual states from the factory to run the highest high test, AND there is no way on the stock engine to adjust fuel mix for nuthin!

I changed the exhaust and the intake track, I added an after market fuel modual that can change the ECU settings and I did add fuel this way, and I now run exclusivly corned fuel at 87 octane just like 9:1 should with NO ping.

For this my mc is louder than stock, but i can't help that, since the EPA forced me to spend money to just make the engine not burn itself up.

No engine made is made to run on 15% corn period.

If we want to burn corn lets burn 100% corn fuel, and be done with it. You can do that. It's expensive.

It's bonehead policies such as this which are directly responsible for skyrocketing food & gasoline prices.
