I'm gonna agree with you on that one.
Loose cannon Palin shows up as officially running and many Repubs will run also.

My prediction is that Americans will vote for anyone except Obama.

As another poster used an LA Times poll for some unsound reason, which I criticized, I'll offer an apology by using an other LA Times story on the O'mens.... whatever.

Just as things were looking up...

As if the poll showing improved approval of Congress under partial Republican leadership wasn't discouraging enough, now comes a new survey showing President Obama's second-year job approval near the bottom of presidents elected in the last six decades or so.

Heading into the president's crucial 2011 State of the Union address next Tuesday evening, Gallup finds that Obama's second-year job approval averaged only 46.7%.
I think that there's just no more air for that balloon.

Default Obama figured out the formula...

Obama knows, to get re-elected, he has to act more like a Republican. The Bush tax cuts are now the Obama tax cuts. He's dropped the war on capitalism and is cozying up to the Chamber of Commerce and big business. He will throw (or has thrown) the progressive agenda under the bus.

This thread was addressed to Obama haters. I am not one. I just hated the sheer stupidity of the policies of the first two years. You cannot increase employment by castigating employers, or increase capital investment by screwing investors, or improve the business climate by going to war on business.

So how do the Obama lovers like this outcome: Obama increases his popularity and ultimately wins re-election by co-opting the republican agenda and jettisoning the progressive agenda? It's fine by me, because we're better off with sound policies no matter who is president.

Obama Approval Index History - Rasmussen Reports™

"What?! How can this be? Rasmussen must be a liberal communist socialist organization now!"
what is happening is the same thing that happen to Bill Clinton. the American people is dragging him kicking and screaming towards the center. the more he moves towards the American people the more American people will like him.what this pole indicate is that Obama is abandoning the far left.for now at least!! thank God!!!

There are a lot of people falling for the propaganda that the economy is turning around. This is why I believe Obama's poll numbers are rising. In the coming months I predict the brainwashing will no longer be as effective, especially considering the crushing inflation we are just starting to see the first glimpse of.

Can you show us the calendar you are using and where we can all get one?

I didn't know there was a presidential election this year.
