You can deny it and keep playing to your base, but your base doesn't win elections for you--swing voters do.
The election was about smaller, less intrusive government.

Those who break that rule will be thrown out in 2012 too.

"You are forgiven, but go and sin no more."

Jesus would have been turned on by the left immediately when he says "go and sin no more."

That was his message.

"Go and sin no more."

Understood?
Yes he was. There was an extensive thread on this topic worth checking out. Besides abortion and gay marriage, jesus was extremely liberal, especially fiscally. He felt we should only live with what we need and give everything else to the needy. Not to be greedy, anti-war, "love thy neighbor" etc,..

Taken down by whom? You fail to see that the Republicans have no one. Nada, nil, zilch.

Oh yeah, nutty Newt. A lot of Republicans will never vote for him. And Romney is "too progressive" and God forbid.........Mormon. The repubs are too splintered to take anyone down.

A mystery, perhaps, but only to you. Regular Americans are fully onboard with her. You can judge a person by the company they keep, and by the people they decry and villify. I find that those people who villify Ms. Palin are, in the almost-total part, disreputable losers, devoid, in almost-toal part, of any redeeming qualities. They are those who hate decency, that hate Ameica, Liberty and self-reliance. Dismiss them as the fools they are.

Not to mention, they generally have no clue what to do and specifically, no desire to do anything positive. The people they answer to are flourishing, why would they want to help the rest?

At this point, just about any warm body capable or articulating any sort of message in any sort of deflection from Obama's would win. America is gagging at the comode to rid itself of this "mistake". Obama should thank his lucky stars that he wasn't up for re-election in 2010, or he would have been discarded already.

No, he wasn't.

He also wanted Religion in our daily lives.

You lefties misinterpret the teachings.

Jesus never expected the government to take our money and give to those that they see fit.

As far as greed, that is a personal decision.

As far as war, sometimes we need to protect ourselves.

He also said that "the only way to the Father is though Me."

He also prayed to God the Father.

He certainly would have wanted America to be a Christian Nation.

Jesus is as far from being a liberal as I am.

What is a "regular" American?

I can see there are those not grown up yet, reaching the level of maturity needed to have a civil discussion about the problems that face us.
Character attacks are either truthful or hateful. Thankfully it is easy to see.
