Nonsense. They want the federal government to assume the responsibility and role the founders intended. If you can actually look at how much the fed has expanded, how intrusive it has become, into every single aspect of our lives and then claim the founders could have ever envisioned such a behemoth, you would be wrong.

I had to wonder how Obama happened to choose the title of Newt Gingrich's book for the "theme" of his message? But I agree with Palin, that WTF held a different meaning for most Americans who heard or read the speech.

The entire speech was more of the same failed nonsense we have been hearing for the last two years, and some of it ("investing in America") borrowed from Clinton.

How stupid does this man think we are?

Freeze spending? Are you kidding me? We need to cut spending. Drastically.

Obama is not even living in the same world as most Americans. He is on another planet. He hasn't yet gotten the clear message that was sent on Nov 2.

The plant he featured in a previous speech, making solar panels, etc. has had to lay off employees and drastically cut back their operation. It is a failure. But Obama wants more of the same? Windmills? Please.
Total disconnect and once again ignoring the voters.

These are the same "ideas" he used last year and possibly the year before. He had the chance to prove how effective they would be with the stimulus...and they failed.

Oh please. He had his minions in the blogosphere all over her. I suppose you think he's just a really nice guy and plays nice when it comes to politics? I have a bridge......

Please give us an example where she has attacked him personally.

Her use of WTF was an acronym of the common, street language variety and we all know it.
And what did she say before that? Something about "winning the future"?

Surprise surprise, your Queen has spoken and of course, you bow to her.

He's a LSOS.

That's a 4 letter acronym. I wonder who can figure out what I mean.

Well I have been reading the Alaksan forums for awhile now and it seems to me that the majority of Alaskans do not like her and were glad she quit. The fact that her man Miller lost and her enemy Murcowski won in the elections proves that.

Sorry to burst your bubble. And she quit to make lots of money, plain and simple. She couldn't do that if she had remained Gov.

Thank you for admitting that when she used the term "WTF moments" it was open to interpretation, that you really don't believe Palin literally meant to convey "win the future."

I really thought that after her just really really pathetic horrible and downright stupid response to the events in Tuson that she had finally burned all of her bridges.
What the H is wrong with the USA that such an idiot even has a public forum????
If she were in Canada she would be up on a soapbox in the park preaching to the squirrels and the birds because no one in this country would give her the time of day.
Who cares what such a moron has to say about anything??

That is your first mistake - assuming those who participate in the Alaska forum: 1) live in Alaska; and 2) are representative of Alaskans.

Consider the source. Naturally, all those lesser-48 posters on the Alaskan forum you just assumed were Alaskans.

All that proved was Gail Fenumiai, the Director of the Division of Elections, was able to fix the election for Murkowski. Joe Miller still got the majority of the vote.

You obviously have no clue what you are talking about, but that is par for the course for lesser-48ers when it concerns Alaska.

Well..it isn't that simple, really. She distanced herself from Miller fairly early on. Her silence during the last few months of the election and particularly during Miller's bouts with the courts actually said a lot.

If you were to come to Alaska, and sit in the coffee shop in my part of the state, you'd no doubt here some very anti-Palin talk, if you heard any at all. If you went to Glitch's area--it would probably be the opposite.

Her approval ratings are of course way down all over though.

It is the truth that many of the posters in the Alaska forum do not live in Alaska and that some of us are lucky enough to have the best of both worlds and spend our winters elsewhere, but there does exist a substantial amount of long time Alaskan posters there who have become a bit disenchanted with the former gov. Several of them have a decidedly conservative bent to their thinking.

I am beginning to believe that someone in her camp is trying to bring her down. NOBODY and I mean, NOBODY is that dumb. Does she not research what she says before she says it? Don't get me wrong, I love it. The "lamestream" media knows shes dumb, but this is beyond the pail. Schmidt said it best. SHE DOESN"T KNOW ANYTHING. She proves it everytime she opens her mouth and only the morons believe she is saying anything smart. I was rolling when I heard this piece. Please let her run, please, please, please, please. Or that weirdo Bachman.

If she ever becomes president of the US, I am packing up my family, and moving to Canada.
People think I'm joking... I'm not. I can deal with a lot of stupid in life.. but she's kind of where I draw the line.
