The only people who love the communists are the republicans. They haven't found a bill they couldn't veto fast enough for any bill trying to regulate sending jobs over to the communist nation. Republican corporate greed is turning china into the worlds next superpower.

and you just can't stand it!Oh she is real amusing to watch what is scary is that some of you actually take her seriously

You can call her crazed and loony. If the show fits and if the word Sheep applies then feel free.

How do you feel about algore? alan greyson? sheila jackson lee?

Did you dare to read her piece about obama? Probably not, that way we don't have to discuss the actual issues she raises.

What do you disagree with in her Facebook piece?

Tell us where she is wrong.

Maybe you missed it but the majority of Libs, Moderates and even Many Repubs here think she is a joke and have said so on seceral occasions. The strange thing is that she does NOT bother you, what is that you see in her that everyone else is missing, she isn't smart in any sense of the term and she ain't all that good looking, so what is it?

The theme wasn't that government will create jobs--it's that BUSINESS will create jobs, and how we create an environment in this country where business can thrive. I don't care who proposed it--I think it's right on the money. You do that through cutting the corporate tax base but cutting the loopholes and pork out (right now 2/3 of corporations pay nothing at all--just think what they would do if they all paid even what I pay in personal income taxes--and right now small businesses get hammered). You support infrastructure development--things like pervasive internet access--so that business can actually function. You put money into basic research into new technologies so industry can run with applied research to create innovative new products. You support education so we have a workforce trained to do highly skilled work. You restructure the government so it's more efficient--if some programs aren't working or are duplicates, you slash them. Pretty simple concept, and what any business would do in similar circumstances. It actually agrees with many republican points, but heaven forbid that any of you would ever acknowledge that.

What is different about what you are advocating as compared to what has been tried for the past two years with porkolus and record budgets?

A quick trip to recovery.org will show the wholesale research grants being proposed as a solution to our unemployment problem is the exact strategy which has been pursued since the failed stimulus was passed. It hasn't worked during the past two years, and it won't work in the future.

"You put money into basic research into new technologies so industry can run with applied research to create innovative new products."

Yep, then those innovative products will be made in China because we still overtax and over regulate business.

"You support education so we have a workforce trained to do highly skilled work."

"W" doubled spending on education during his presidency. What would you say is enough?

"You restructure the government so it's more efficient"

Private enterprise is efficient because they have to be to survive. They must compete with other businesses and will become unprofitable and fail if they are not efficient. Government has no competitors and is therefore accountable to no one. When they screw up, they simply raise taxes, spend more and borrow without limit to compensate for their unchecked inefficiency and incompetency.

(A record $1.5 trillion deficit, an 84% increase in federal spending, a trillion dollar stimulus that stimulated nothing but more Tea Party activism, 9+% unemployment (or 17% percent if you include those who have stopped looking for work or settled for part time jobs), 2.9 million home foreclosures last year, and a moratorium on offshore drilling that has led to more unemployment and $100 dollar a barrel oil.)

And these are the best accomplishments of the regime!

The argument can't be broken.

That's what they really don't like - people like Palin highlighting the utter failures of this administration.

To Obama Supporters: We will have six more years to hear part of American society bellyache about our President. It won't matter what he says, what he accomplishes, how well the economy improves, how many tax breaks he signs for the rich............there will always be complaints from a small segment of this society.

The Republicans are as split as pea soup, and they have little to offer for a Presidential candidate. Romney, is the most sane of the bunch, but the fundies would rather die than elect a Mormon. Who else has toyed that they might run? Newt. Good ole Newt, working on his 19th nervous breakdown.
Palin won't run. She likes to tease, but she's too afraid to actually put her money where her mouth is. Besides, her popularity has waned substantially, and she knows her skill is with stirring the pot of her fundie base, not with producing tangible results. The repukes have their work cut out, and they definitely lack unity. They have become the party of two........the business-as-usual repubs. and the the fascists tea cups with the likes of Palin and Bachman. They are so splintered that they gave two separate rebuttals to the SOTU.

Obama is in like Flynn. After the SOTU, Did anyone take note that the Dow jumped to a point higher than it has been since 2008?

Palin and nuts like Bachman are our best friends.

That usually requires education and training. It's no different for the country. Our business model doesn't work anymore, and the world is leaving us behind. If we don't invest in bringing this country into the 21st century, no amount of budget cutting is going to dig us out of a financial hole. We can't survive as a consumer based economy. Get it?

Actually, our business model is the best in the world. Our government model, not so much.

The reason we are a consumer based economy instead of a manufacturing based economy is we over tax and over regulate business to the point they have to go elsewhere to operate.
