I wonder what amendment they want to scrap next..... I can't wait to see the conservative leadership start gutting the bill of rights.

Is there anyone else who thinks this is a bad idea?

This is a slippery slope that can take us back to the 1800s way too easily.

There are better ideas.

Good idea... bad idea... Constitutional Amendements are so hard to actually get done, I think the presumption must be that it's a dead on arrival idea.

1800s? LMAO Explain to me how? Is it because in the 1800's people believed no one should profit from an illegal act like the anchor babies and families have profited? and off of MY money

That one won't even get out of Congress.

We don't generally pass controversial amendments. You have to build a strong concensus. And even then it may not work.
