Couldn't have said it better myself Janelle. You are so right, they cannot properly install a communist/socialist government in this country without getting that pesky God out of the way. Can't be having the citizens thinking that their rights come from God and not the government, otherwise they won't be justified when they take them away.

I don't care, I don't read bills in fact last I used one was 2 years ago (except when one pays for hookers). It's all cards and electronic stuff now.

But it is an odd place to proclaim somebody's trust in god on. Besides, which god? It's like the odd practive of putting gideon bibles in every damn hotel motel room like it's going to convert anybody. I used one to roll a joint once when I was out of paper.

I believe it is meant to represent whatever God a person worships so long as they are spiritually accountable to an authority higher than a person or government. Maybe its just a simple reminder of what is really important in the grand scheme of things. Could it just be that simple?

Careful with smok'in them holy rollers, you don't wanna get yourself some kind of bad karma ink poisoning.

Does not matter to me. I do have a pair of $2 bills from 1953 that do not have " In God We Trust".

Having the word G-d on currency shows a certain degree of disrespect for the Almighty. Why would anyone want a Holy word on something that is as dirty as money? Not only is it physically filthy, but it makes the use of the word mundane and meaningless.
