Not if the USA stays out of it.
Not necessarilly. When Israel destroyed the Egyptian airforce in 1967, Nasser claimed it was the USAF using planes with painted on Israeli ensignia. I have read that they still believe this.

How much US trade or commerce goes through the Suez?

At least if the USA cuts of aid to Egypt,we will save $1.5 billion...

Well this is one way to balance the budget.
Cross off each country from aid as they overthrow the governments we fund.

Why on earth is the United States hypocritical damn nation? On one hand it boasts and prides itself about standing behind democracy, individual rights and freedoms. Then on the other, as soon as the politically oppressed people rise up to oust the greedy, capitalist friends of the United States; the US throws its support behind its lyin', cheatin', stealin' dictator friends it propped into office.

Got to start somewhere. Pennies add up to dollars, dollars add up to billions.
Everything by itself is a "drop in the bucket" from what I read therefore don't stop it.
Well all those drops have added up to trillions we do not have.

I am confused- I believe the Egyptian people now want Egypt to become an islamic state, meaning it will no longer be democratic correct? This will not be good for us.

BBC News - Egypt unrest

The are kind of talking about this now. There are Islamic opposition parties, but don't know if they are favoured across the board.
