And how long is this going to last?

I come from the country which had the first legal gay marriages.....and just see how many are already divorced, some had kids and no the kids have to deal with it....

I had collegues over there who first where in a so called "normal" relationship, than so called figured out they were gay and than ...oops realized they were not gay....meanwhile kids were involved. Great isn't it...

I guess we should except everybody the way they are....and let the shrinks get a fat pay check, years later!

Of course you have the ones who are gay their entire life....which is fine with me...I'm only feeling sorry for the kids of parents who can't decide what they are....

My mother was married six times and my father three and they were both heterosexuals. I have been with my partner for sixteen years and we can't get married and we are gay. Our best friends have two sons and have been together for 26 years and their eldest is in college and wants to be a doctor and their other child is an honor student in high school and they're parents are gay. There should be no stereotyping of any group. There are good and bad examples everywhere. I try to live a good life and be happy and so does my partner and I believe that is our recipe for success. We are still happy after all of these years and would just like the opportunity to get married like most other people are able to do. Live and let live...it's an easy concept and it works harmoniously within society.

You want to get married? Move to a state where it is legal. Pretty simple isn't it?

Just like you have socialists clamoring for more socialism in the U.S., the move to Europe or Canada for cripe's sake. Why the fuss? Except just to force an agenda?

I don't get it either. Their solution is biting them in the ankles and they still don't see it, or they just simply ignore it. You would think that it would be less fuss and aggrevation just to move instead of spending so much energy to try and change something.

A piece of paper will somehow make your union stronger?

If that is the case your relationship isn't very strong in my opinion.
